Bethesda House
Plymouth
County, MA
Bethesda House was established in 2016 and is located on the South Shore of Massachusetts. Our home offers 8 mothers a safe place to stay, where you will share a single room with your child. We will link you with an educational plan so when you leave, you have the necessary skills and knowledge to be self-sufficient. We will help you work out all the details in order to make this possible, from accessing benefits, to child care and transportation, to financial aid. We also teach parenting and life skills to help you be the best mom you can be. Best of all, we provide you with the love and support you need as a new mother. Bethesda House also assists mothers in accessing benefits to aid in the support of mom and baby. Parenting through formal classes and informal teaching are an integral part of daily life. Basic life skills are taught as well.
Circle of Hope
MISSION
The mission of Circle of Hope is to provide infants, children, and adults experiencing homelessness with clothing and hygiene essentials in order to preserve and enhance overall health and personal dignity. We make monthly deliveries of clothing, coats, shoes, bedding, and hygiene essentials to 32 partner shelters, healthcare clinics, schools, universities, and community programs. We make additional emergency deliveries as needed, providing the exact items needed by families facing immediate crises like house fires and domestic violence.
History
2008
Circle of Hope was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on October 2, 2008. At the time, we had three partner shelters in downtown Boston.
